About Us
Firstly, let me introduce myself... I'm Sean Murphy and I'm the founder of Cancha Pádel Club. I have been playing padel for a number of years and have a strong background in Analysis, Project Management and Product Delivery.
Padel has become a real passion of mine not only playing, but immersing myself within the world of padel - finding new trends, discovering different clubs and understanding what activities do and don't work, all of these have led to the creation of Cancha Pádel Club. Below you'll read more about what our mission is and why we want to make a real difference to the padel community in the UK.
Our Mission
Cancha Pádel Club has one clear mission. To make padel available to everyone. This may sound simple, but from our research and our experience we have seen some major gaps within the current padel market that we want to make a real impact in.
We want to firstly drive down the price of padel. We're fully aware that at the minute demand outstrips availability from a court rental perspective, but this isn't a reason to keep prices slightly more inflated than they should be - we believe that even a small decrease in the hourly rental price of a court could make a huge difference in terms of who has access to padel.
We want to work closely with local schools, sports clubs and other academies to build a real family feel to our clubs. We want padel to be available to the next generation and for them to be able to experience padel on a regular basis.
We want to build a strong community and create places for people to socialise as well as enjoy the game of padel. We know padel is a social sport and we want to make sure people can take advantage of that by utilising high end facilities and enjoy social and community days organised by the club.
